Why Choose Free Yourself for Therapy in Colorado?
At Free Yourself, we believe therapy should feel personal, empowering, and accessible to everyone. Our Colorado therapists take time to understand your story and create individualized treatment plans that fit your life, culture, and goals. You’ll work with a diverse team of clinicians who offer expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions, all within a safe, inclusive environment where you can heal and grow at your own pace.
We proudly accept Medicaid for free therapy sessions, along with most major insurance plans and affordable self-pay options, making quality mental-health care available to people across Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Pueblo, Grand Junction, and everywhere else throughout the state. Whether you prefer telehealth therapy or in-person counseling in Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood, our compassionate clinicians are here to help you reconnect with yourself and move toward lasting well-being.
Free Yourself therapists use a variety of approaches to help people learn how to transform the way you respond to daily stressors in a mindful and regulated way. We'll identify your triggers, name your emotions and negative thoughts. We’ll then work to determine which skills and tools might work best for you to overcome your barriers to wellness and move forward on your path to recovery.
What Can I expect at my first Therapy Session?
Your intake appointment will serve as both a consultation and therapy session simultaneously. You can expect a friendly and relaxed conversation where you and your therapist get to know each other. While it's a time for assessment and gathering information, this session will also allow for therapeutic interaction and support. This integrated approach ensures that you begin receiving support and guidance from the very first session, setting a foundation for ongoing therapy. Intake appointments are often covered by insurance and Medicaid. Please contact us if you’d like to verify your insurance eligibility prior to scheduling a session.
