About Sondra
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Identities: LBGTQIA+, Native American
I'm a LSW with a Master's degree in Social Work, specializing in helping youth ages 5+ and adults navigate life’s challenges with resilience and self-compassion. My approach blends evidence-based therapies in a holistic approach like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-informed care, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Play therapy to meet clients where they are.
As a proud Native American, I believe in healing the whole self: mind, body, spirit and culture. Whether we're unpacking trauma, building coping skills, or practicing mindfulness, my goal is to create a safe, non judgmental space where growth feels both possible and sustainable.
Clients describe my style as compassionate, collaborative, and sometimes sprinkled with humor because I know that even serious healing can have moments of lightness. Together, we'll work toward not just reducing symptoms, but building a life you can feel proud and grounded in.
Outside the therapy room, you'll often find me immersed in a fantasy novel, crafting new D&D storylines, or spending time in nature-all things that inspire creativity, reflection, and connection, both in my life and in my work with clients.
