About Lauren

Pronouns: She/Her
Identities: LGBT Therapist

Hi, I’m Lauren Rose. I’ve spent more than a decade in the mental health field supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, people moving through major life transitions, and anyone seeking a space where they can show up fully as themselves. I work with clients navigating identity exploration, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and the pressure of trying to “fit” in places that don’t always feel built for them.

My style is laid-back, transparent, and truly client-centered. Therapy with me is conversational and grounded, not clinical or stiff. I want you to feel safe, affirmed, and understood from the moment we begin. You set the pace. Your story guides the work. And together, we focus on building confidence, clarity, and emotional resilience.

If you’ve ever felt like you had to tone yourself down to make others comfortable, whether in family roles, friendships, workplaces, or relationships, you’re not alone. So many people come to therapy carrying the quiet question, “Where do I belong, and who am I allowed to be?”

I help clients untangle that question with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for their lived experiences.

My role is to hold space for every part of you, uncertain, bold, exhausted, joyful, questioning, hopeful, and to support you in moving toward a life that actually feels aligned. Sometimes that means I simply listen and offer room to breathe. Other times I’ll be direct when you need clarity or a fresh perspective. Clients often tell me that our sessions feel like exhaling after holding their breath for too long.

I completed my training through the University of Memphis and Walden University and use approaches rooted in mindfulness, body awareness, and strengths-based therapy.

Whether you're exploring identity, healing from past relationships, managing stress, or rebuilding self-trust, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that fits your goals and your capacity.

I offer virtual therapy to clients anywhere in Colorado and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and life paths. If you’re ready for a supportive space to grow, reflect, and reconnect with yourself, I’d love to work with you.
