About Alice

Pronouns: She/ Her

Identities: Queer, Disabled

Special Population Served: Chronic health conditions, functional neurological disorders, & various disabilities.

As a Licensed Social Worker, my practice is grounded in the recognition that individuals crave to be seen, valued, and heard—and that genuine connection is fundamental to well-being. I am dedicated to providing expertise and insight while recognizing that my clients are the true experts in their own lives. My experience of becoming paralyzed has deeply informed my understanding of trauma and resilience. I bring my lived experience as a framework for acknowledging the challenges of adaptation, while holding a deep belief in each individual’s capacity for growth.

In my therapeutic approach, I integrate a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have extensive experience working with adolescents, as well as with survivors of sexual assault. I deeply embrace diversity and enjoy working with individuals across a range of relationship orientations, as well as with clients who hold non-traditional belief systems. I view diverse identities as meaningful sources of strength and resilience. I am committed to working alongside clients as they examine their experiences and develop new, more supportive ways of understanding them.

I acknowledge that finding the right therapist can be daunting and take both time and emotional energy. However, it is a worthwhile step in investing in your mental health and overall happiness. Together, we can work towards addressing your challenges and progressing you towards a more fulfilling life.
