Which Psychedelic is Right for Me?

Ketamine Assisted Therapy

Ketamine is recommended for hard to treat depression, suicidal ideation, entrenched beliefs and “looping” anxious thoughts

Ketamine works by targeting GABA receptors to facilitate neural dendrite growth and increase neuroplasticity.

Assisted sessions are 4 hours long and include integration. 3 preparation and 6 ketamine sessions are recommended for the first course of treatment.

60-90 minute integration sessions are also available for those wishing to have independent journeys.

100-150mg Ketamine lozenges are available for prescription via telehealth by Shannon Keane, NP or Gail Dawson, NP

psilocybin Assisted Therapy

Psilocybin is recommended for those wanting a mystical and/or transpersonal experience, and is helpful for fear of death, and existential crises. Psilocybin can be combined with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help change maladaptive behavior patterns that hold you back from working towards your values.

Psilocybin works by stimulating dopamine receptors and decreasing amygdala activity (fear), the anterior cingulate cortex (negative emotions, pain, and depression).

New links are created between previously disconnected brain regions, temporarily changing organizational networks in the brain. This frees the brain from being confined to usual pathways and let it wander freely.

Treatment consists of 3 preparation sessions at 60-90 minutes each. Psilocybin assisted sessions are approximately 6-8 hours, followed by an integration session the next day.
