About Michelle

Hello! My name is Michelle Lockwood and I am a compassionate, caring, and dedicated clinical mental health therapist who strives to meet clients where they are. Using a balanced approach and a variety of modalities and techniques, I work with clients experiencing life’s challenges in an effort to regain focus, heal the past, and make room for a successful tomorrow. Individual sessions are expertly tailored to each client and their specific needs; honoring each person’s journey and validating them along the path to becoming the best version of him/herself. Flexible, adaptive, and creative, I hold a non-judgemental and supportive space for each client to come as they are; broken and beautiful all the same.

I have experience working with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD, and religious trauma. Working with individuals and couples, I strive to help each individual obtain goals that lead to a healthier and more successful life path. As an educator for many years and a parent myself, my background and experiences allow me to work with young people (10+), parents, and families from a well-rounded perspective.

I invite you to schedule an intake and start your journey to wellness with me. My holistic, whole body and mind approach in combination with more formal modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy will help you to reach your goals and become the best you! In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, spending time with my family, cooking, and being outdoors.
