About Jeremy
Jeremy Anderson is a Master of Social Work and currently pursuing advanced licensure as a clinical social worker and addictions counselor. Jeremy received his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University’s Sandler School of Social Work and has over 6 years of experience in the field of social work.
Jeremy is passionate about helping individuals overcome personal challenges and embrace meaningful change. As a psychotherapist, Jeremy views therapy from the psychodynamic perspective while utilizing the following modalities: CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution Focused and TF-CBT. Jeremy has extensive clinical training in the fields of mental health, substance use, and life counseling, and is experienced in treating a wide range of challenges.
Jeremy has practiced at all levels of care including Detoxification, residential facilities, and outpatient. Jeremy has served his clients in various roles as a Support Specialist, Case Manager, Therapist and Executive Director.
In addition to his professional experience, Jeremy has worked with children and families involved in the juvenile justice system, served as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Palm Beaches and is involved with many community organizations working with at-risk youth.
